How to Edit a PDF on Mac (Free, No Adobe)

You need to change a date, fix a typo, or update a number in a PDF on your Mac. The built-in Preview app can annotate a document — add text boxes, highlights, notes — but it cannot edit the original words themselves. For real text edits, you need a PDF editor.
