When you will actually need the password
If the file refuses to open until you type a password, there is no honest workaround — the document is encrypted, and unlocking requires that password from whoever created it. Unlock documents you own, or that you may legitimately modify, and ask for an unsigned or unlocked copy of anything else.
Why the file was print-locked in the first place
Restrictions are usually set deliberately — a report meant to be read online, a rate sheet a vendor does not want redistributed — so before removing one, check you are entitled to.
